Reflex Rush Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 September 2026
Reflex Rush is a single-player reaction game for iPhone made by an independent developer ("we"). It has no account system and no servers of its own. This page explains what data the app touches, who processes it, and the choices you have.
1. Data that stays on your device
- Gameplay progress — scores, combos, reaction-time records, achievements, unlocked skins and themes, coins, settings. Stored in the app's local storage.
- iCloud sync (optional) — the same progress is mirrored to your own iCloud key-value store so a second iPhone signed into your Apple Account picks it up. This goes to Apple, not to us. Turn it off in the app's Settings or by disabling iCloud Drive for the app.
- Usage counters — the app keeps a handful of on-device event counters (runs finished, shop opened, ad completed). They never leave the device.
- Reminders — if you allow notifications, a local "streak" reminder is scheduled on the device. No push server is involved.
2. Apple services
- In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive a receipt confirming the purchase, never your payment details.
- Game Center (optional, off until you agree) — the app asks once, after your first run, before anything is uploaded. If you agree, your best score, best combo, total perfects and best average reaction time are submitted to Apple's global leaderboards under your Game Center profile, where other players can see them; this is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Decline and every score stays on your device. You can change your mind at any time in the app's Settings under Game Center.
3. Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To do this, Google's SDK receives device information (model, OS version, language, IP address, an app-scoped identifier) and, only if you allow it, the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Consent (EEA / UK): before any ad loads you are shown a consent form. You can decline, or change your choice later in the app under Settings → Ad Privacy Options.
- App Tracking Transparency: iOS asks for tracking permission the first time you choose to watch a rewarded ad. If you decline, ads are still shown but are not personalised. Change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Pro / Starter Pack disables all advertising and stops the ad SDK from requesting ads.
How Google uses this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. What we do not do
- No accounts, passwords, email addresses or names are collected.
- No analytics or crash-reporting service is included; nothing is sent to servers operated by us.
- We do not sell personal data.
5. Children
Reflex Rush is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Ad requests are made with Google's child-directed treatment disabled; if you believe a child has used the app in a way that concerns you, contact us.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal data ourselves: deleting the app removes all local data; disabling iCloud Drive for the app and deleting the app removes the iCloud copy; ad-related choices are managed through the consent form and iOS tracking settings described above. For anything else, email us and we will help.
7. Changes
We will update this page when the app's data practices change and revise the date at the top.
